what would you do in this online dating situation? {rsstitle}
Question by Kristin: what would you do in this online dating situation?
I’m a woman who likes to be pursued. I have this guy on an online dating website wo has asked to meet me, but instead of asking for my number to plan it. Seems odd to me…
Shouldn’t have to tell a man that I don’t plan dates via Internet, he should want my # in general. How would you approach this so that you’re still being pursued and don’t have to tell someone what to do.

Typically yes you would want to talk on the phone for a good week or longer to ensure your own safety. Online dating is a lot safer than you would think, even safer than your other typical dating sources such as a club or your local bar, since when your chatting with people on a dating site or even social networking you can easily weed out the creepers everyone talks about by getting to know the person your talking to over the course of several days or however long you choose. You cant really do that in a bar, and even less of a chance in a loud club. But if the guy your talking to doesn’t ask for your number to talk and get to know you on a more “real” level instead of over the internet then I would say next and find a better guy. I suggest you to try out one of the free dating sites like http://www.findmykiss.com they are focusing on Houston and Los Angeles at the moment but you can join from anywhere in the United States or even the world, and they offer several ways to meet that perfect man or woman, such as speed dating, video chat, and other social activities and its all free.
