How to forget my unrequited love and accept the fate that I have been provided with? {rsstitle}

Question by Liz: How to forget my unrequited love and accept the fate that I have been provided with?
I have been in unrequited love with a man for a little more than two years now. He is happy in his life, and I always become happy in his joy. I only wish the best for him. That’s why I want to leave him alone. He has expressed that he cannot be with me, and I respect his decision. But I need your advice to help me on this journey. How do I eradicate his thoughts from my heart? By which realisation should I accept my true fate and accept this brutal reality?
Cheers

confront him and say you like him or love him. Its the only way he will truly know how u feel. and why cant he be with u?

    meet as many guys as possible for friendship and more. do not spend any time with this ‘unrequited’ love as far as you can avoid it. also join clubs, spend time with family, friends and in practice of your religion. do not think about this and find other outlets

    First stpe, stop making a tragedy of this, it’s not a “brutal reality”, it’s just life and it goes, it will not stop. You have all the right to be happy, so think about you, you are the most importnat person for you. he has been honest with you. Yoy already said you want to leave him so just move on, say good bye and concentrate in your life, your things, friends, family, school, work… Think that he’s already happy and now it’s your turn! ; )

    Move forward, you still have many things to do and we know you will find someone else at the correct moment. Enjoy your life and good luck, all success for you, lady! ^_^

    Get a balance in your life. People are like buses. If you miss one, another will come along soon. Get more involved in sports or walking or running or jogging. Keep busy. If you are a student hit the books. Do not be afraid to devote two hours per day to homework or study. Ahhhh, it’s best to start out slowly with new programs, especially the exercise. Spend 10 to 15 minutes a day in prayer. It helps. Also do about 10 minutes in spiritual reading. The bible is good for the reading but there are other sources. Join a new club, meet new friends. Learn to listen to others. Best wishes.
