Yes, he would be responsible. But from the sound of it, he won’t volunteer to pay it. You need to contact an attorney and get a court order for him to pay.

You can have him pay child support for the child you already have and once your unborn child is born go and get that child on a child support case. They are his kids so therefore he has to pay!

Shesh sounds like he’s a real ***0. Wha does he think that just because the relationship is over then so is his resposibility? Like someone said already take him to court for the existing child. Then after the second one is born he’ll still be resposible for that one to.

As there is a 30% chance the child is not his, he shouldn’t until paternity is established.

Go to the California Department of Child Support Services. it’s completely free to do and they will help you set up the court date and help filing out the paperwork. You might want to wait until your baby is born to do this, as the courts will not make him pay for an unborn child. If you don’t go to court he doesn’t have to pay. Once you have a court order for child support, you don’t have to do anything. The court will establish the amount he will pay, but remember they will also be setting up visitation as well as custody. Good luck!
