What do you think? Answer below!
Call your wifes lawyer.
You can call the court and ask- they may or may not tell you. If you go in person- maybe they will serve you there?
You have a few options.
You can contact your spouse or their attorney and request a copy of the papers.
You can retain your own attorney to handle this mess for you.
You can call the Court and request a copy.
Just be sure when you file your answer, you indicate that the papers were not served properly, especially if you are requesting additional time to fully answer the petition/complaint.
If you don’t have an attorney, and/or cannot afford one, there should be local options for a free consultation, either through private law firms, or via the court programs. You can check online, or ask the court clerk when you call.
