review is from: Best 377 Colleges , 2013 edition (College Admissions Guides) (Paperback)
The Princetown Review publishes a series of books about research College, including the “Complete Book of Colleges” and one. This book is essentially a distilled version the “Complete Book” and frankly much more useful (but for people completely new to the college search process, definitely check it well). “The Best 377 Colleges (2013 Edition)” (837 pages) similar to editing in the last year after occupying the best colleges to 376 last year (remember this book began in 1992 with the best 250 where are the years!) This time there are six new “best” universities:.. Allegheny College , Berker College, City University of New York-City College, University of Hawaii-Manoea, University of Tampa, and Virginia Wesleyan College Five schools were on the list last year dropped (but if inflation “best” colleges continues, I think, we will get to about 400 by 2020.) There are more than 60 years of fun through the list of 20 for best / worst, as “the most beautiful campus”, “students learn the most,” “Party Schools” and “politically active “students (the school my daughter is the # 1 school on the list, it was ranked No. 5 liters last year, then, but do not know these rankings change every year exactly how these rankings due to an increase of 5 to 1 in a year seems steep). The best feature of this guide is the layout of the page 2 for each of the colleges, with detailed information on campus life, academic selectivity (the number of applicants, how many were accepted, and of those, how many actually decided to participate), up-to-date tuition and accommodation fees / card (I have the numbers of college my daughter, and they are correct), etc. Another aspect that very useful is the “survey says” box is where the essence of the university is the students themselves, and “The Inside Word” report about how difficult it really is permitted to be when all is said and done distilled. lists I read various colleges that my daughter and son to consider before making a final decision (she chose a school in Washington DC, he remained in Ohio), and can only say that everything seems to be what is written here. well over In the end the proof is in the pudding: Many college guides out there, my daughter has spent more time with this book (when she was in college in search a few years ago) than any other, this book is not the first. place to look for the university, but as soon as your son or daughter has narrowed down his / her college choice and presented under the assumption that universities in the “Best 377” are, this book is clearly the best resource, the last step visit a campus before, and may again be visited by the campus. I saw a lot of college-search books and academic research when I recommend a book on all guides, this book is simple.

This review is from: The Best 377 Colleges, 2013 edition (College Admissions Guides) (Paperback)
This is the best guide for college students with SAT scores above 1100 (verbal and math). I do not recommend for students with lower scores, since it focuses on schools, expect a higher SAT. This book rate college on academic and social factors so that you can see if you fit for this campus. You can use the dorms, party atmosphere, and that current students are similar to read. One feature that I felt was great … “If you want a particular college, you may want to look at” … This allows you to add new schools to consider. My high school son ever used this book to help make his choice. I highly recommend this book! My daughter is using an older version of school choice. is constant recourse to the use of this book.

While much “improved touted” and “interactive” features were almost a wash (many of them would not play on my Kindle or iPad), but this book contains a wealth of useful information that it is worth the price if it leads research at universities. Regarding campus we visited, we found most of her observations on the spot.
