The way to build long character would probably be friend first if you used for social interaction, and do what feels right. Also, you should go with someone you love, and if you do not like someone now, be friends with the girl, and maybe you will come to love someone, and you will also help less introverted. As a liberal, I would also be open about your sexuality spirit. Although, if you feel uncomfortable talking to girls you are probably right, or at least bisexual. I hope that was not a problem.
