I don’t think you can fall in love with some one online. You don’t know them in person, you don’t know how they act around their friends and family or even how they will act around you when you do meet. I would never even date someone online.

I would have to disagree with the other answers, I believe it can happen…
I believe you can’t help where your heart goes, and if you get to know this person very well, and they eventually become a part of your life, it is very possible to fall in love with someone you met online.
My boyfriend and I actually met online… and we had fallen for each other within months of talking,we actually made our relationship official while still talking online and phone, before meeting which seems kind of silly to some people, i know. But we’ve been together a year now and he’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, and not being able to see him often at this point is just a minor road block, we make it work.
I met my boyfriend online when he was studying English abroad in Australia and I was back in Korea (I’m an American living in Korea). We chatted every-day on Skype for hours for 4 months before he came back to Korea and we met, I def. loved him before we met. We’ve been together over a year now and now live together. So yes, I believe it is very possible.
