A lighter shade of love,
This sweet little novel is enjoyable – just as a love story should be! Short, to the point, and filled with characters that will have you aptly cheering or jeering, Ryan Crane leaves explicitness to imagination and instead chooses to focus on the elements of romance. Frankly, I think that’s refreshing! In a world filled with so many darker shades, sometimes something a little lighter and brighter is a good thing.
At times, the writing offers descriptive perspective more like that of a screenplay (perhaps there are plans intertwined here), but I found the story overall to be a worthy offering within this genre. That’s also refreshing!
